Ingredients: Organic chickpeas/garbanzo beans
Cooking Suggestions: Soak 1 Cup of Garbanzo beans with cold spring water for 6 to 8 hours overnight. Drain, but reserve soaking water. Add a strip of Kombu-Japanese kelp seaweed to a pressure cooker or pot and cover with the strained beans. Add back the water, cover and cook on low heat at less than full pressure for 30 to 40 minutes. Bring down the pressure and remove the beans from the pot. Cool and add to your favorite dish.
